The CEO of Hardrock Diamond Drilling Ltd began his career in drilling 20 years ago, starting as a helper and working his way steadily upward in the industry, learning every aspect of the business along the way. He quickly become very versatile with a number of different ground conditions and drilling styles, from skid mounted drills to heli-portable drills and self mobile drills. He has travelled the world working on diamond drills in Canada, South America, Africa and Indonesia.

Hardrock Diamond Drilling Ltd was incorporated in 2004 – with drill programs throughout central and northern BC, as well as up into the Yukon.

Safety is a priority at Hardrock Drilling. Employees must have their standard first aid certificate to be considered for employment. In addition, regular safety meetings are held on site, annual review of the HRDD Safety Manual is required and the MSDS sheets for all chemicals/hazardous substances are available for review by employees, upon request. Hardrock Diamond Drilling prides itself on being environmentally responsible. Spill response cleanup includes the use of matting for oil leaks and/or spills; sumps are used to filter the water coming out of the hole to eliminate cuttings, etc from contaminating the soil; rubber tracked drills are the preferred method of transport to reduce the pressure on soft ground, eliminating the need for bulldozers and reducing the negative impact on the surface soil.
