Mineral exploration includes :

• And the different geophysical and geochemical surveys.

Geotechnical

It is the role of the site geotechnical engineer to provide ground engineering support to achieve mine production targets and identify opportunities to improve geotechnical aspect of mine design.

Underground

Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) is a construction technique whereby a tunnel is drilled under a waterway or other designated area, and a pipeline or other utility is pulled through the drilled underground tunnel.

Reclamation

Modern mine rehabilitation aims to minimize and mitigate the environmental effects of modern mining, which may in the case of open pit mining involve movement of significant volumes of rock. Rehabilitation management is an ongoing process, often resulting in open pit mines being backfilled.
